I've been going through some old photos lately working on some scrapbooking stuff and I came across this polariod of my boys in front of some sunflowers we grew at our apartment. I believe they were 2 and 5? It was always one of my favorite photos of them, and it was right before I got my first real camera. I don't know to this day if I really do take great photos or if its that my husband takes horrible ones and thats what I have to compare it to!! Still, I love the way this one came out and I'm so happy to have found it again so I could scan it and make copies.

Speaking of making copies, I did end up getting the printer/scanner/copier that I mentioned a few posts ago, and while I'm very pleased with it, printing photos consumes much more ink than just printing bill receipts from online. I'm almost out of ink and found that printing pictures of black dogs and cats doesn't look very well unless you have a brand new thing of ink!

So I managed to get some of my scrapbooking pages into jpg format and loaded them into flickr, and placed and order for some 8x10's to see how they come out. I know they don't show in flickr, because at the moment I have them on private. I have been saving artwork to use in my personal scrapbooking and now I don't know if I can even place them in my flickr account without finding out who gets credit for what. Maybe I can unprivatize them as long as I don't post the pages into groups saying "hey evrybuddy look what I did!"

I'm also working on some coptic stitched books that I hope to post soon. Those things are addicting! I wake up at 5 in the morning and wait for my husband to leave for work so I can run to my craft closet and dig out some paper to get started on a book!

Ok I'm out for now, going to call my internet provider and find out why I've been kicked offline twice in 10 minutes.

My old Alex

I have been ignoring my YouTube channel lately because I've been working on scrapbook and journal stuff, so flickr has been getting alot of my attention. I did catch some video of my Alex in action the other day, so I'm here to share it with you! My son and I cannot go outside without Alex seeing us and meowing over and over again. He usually runs across the yard to us, but as he gets older he does more walking now, and sometimes stops halfway, as if we are suppose to meet him halfway because his arthritis is acting up. Did I mention how talkative he is???

LOL Cats

I logged onto my Flickr account this afternoon to see what had changed, and I got some new comments on a couple cat photos. They were actually invites to post 2 of my pics to LOL Cats - invited photos only group. I actually brought their attention to one of the photos, the one of Bear Bear in a dish drainer.. but someone liked one of Alex meowing too, so that also got an invite. Here are both of the photos, and they are clickable to my Flickr account.





I have been busy with other things and haven't had time to sit down with all my jewelry and add them to Etsy. There are so many steps to adding them and I just haven't felt like messing with it just yet. I promise I will add some new earrings soon, as well as some journals/scrapbooks. Also I hope to put up some pendants made with microscope slide glass that I have on order right now.

Since I'm getting big on scrapbooks I'm trying to learn digital scrapbooking, and I need to print out some nice designs and photos for my microscope slide pendants, so I have been looking around at printers and I'm thinking about this one:
