This was a picture my son took of Kayla on our front steps a few days ago. Some of the pictures we took turned out really nice, but this one just turned out goofy looking, so I had to post it! Poor KK, she is about 9 years old and is getting alot slower than normal. She sleeps about 22 hours a day and her interest in food is disappearing. This is a dog who could snort a full donut through her nostril. Now she seems more excited over our voice then she does over food.

So Busy! But still here.
I haven't exactly been keeping up with posting or my etsy store for the last 3 weeks. I have been so amazingly busy. I'm lucky if I get 6 hours of sleep a night these days. My dogs are up pacing alot at night and since our entire house is hardwood flooring, it gets a bit noisy. My Sheena has also started limping, and I'm sure it's because she is getting stiff in her old age.
I've also finally taken my Junior to the vets and got him neutered. What a thrill that was. He lost his mind on the way outside, before we even hit the van. He did some damage to his claws while trying to escape and even pulled a few out. We found 2 bloody nails after we dropped him off for the afternoon. Poor guy tiptoed around the house for a couple days but he seems to be back to normal now. He is on medication for a leaky liver, how fun.
Hubby is back to work and sooo not happy about it. Maybe when we become fulltimers he will enjoy alot more time off, and alot less of a workload.
My Dad retired from his job after 30 years. I think they hired him in 1977. He has been home for maybe 2 weeks and I hear my mother has already had him tear out a wall and paint the dining room again. Anyways, My son and his girlfriend are up there in Maine visiting the family and should be heading back home in a few days.
Well alot more is going on but I will stop here. It's all boring bills and housework kind of stuff. Watch for my next post and I promise I will post a picture!
